2026 Explorers Program
For over 50 years, the Hartley Drive YMCA has supported summer camp-based programming that encourages young people to grow in spirit, mind, and body. Our YMCA is committed to providing trained professional staff for summer camps that will uphold our mission and character values.
The Explorer Program is designed for rising 8th graders to experience Camp Pioneer's activities and regular field trips along with an adventure aspect of exclusive off-site field trips. This program has limited capacity and is anticipated to fill up quickly!

2026 Explorer Fees
A $20 deposit per session is due at registration. The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and all field trips.

2026 Camp Pioneer Open House
We will host our Open House June 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to see the camp grounds, meet the staff, and ask questions. We will also present each camper with their camper shirt and operate our pool for swim tests. If your child takes their swim test during the Open House, they will not have to take one during camp. This will provide them with more swim time. Please take advantage of this event and participate in our Open House! Check in for Open House will take place in the cul-de-sac behind the Y at the entrance of Camp Pioneer. We encourage you to park in our back parking lot and walk down the hill to camp.
