Senior Programs

Group Exercise Class Schedule

Consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program or activity.

Wear sneakers to class. Bring water to class.


Chair Volleyball:  Join us for a fun 45 minutes of seated volleyball. Games will be played with a beach ball and a low net in the multi-purpose room. Teams will consist of 6 – 10 participants on each side of the court.


MSROM SilverSneakers®: This 45 minute Muscular Strength Range of Movement class is a great way for seniors to exercise at their own pace. Not only do we exercise our heart, lungs and muscles but we also work on our range of movement, flexibility, balance, and memory through a variety of fun exercises. SilverSneakers is a challenge-by-choice class with the option to sit or stand. Come to class today!


Silver Sneakers® YogaStretch: This is a 45 minute class that is appropriate for everybody. All of the poses and breathing exercises are performed either seated or standing. This class offers exercises to improve range of

movement, core strength, posture and breathing efficiency, while promoting stress reduction and a sense of well-being. You do not need to remove your shoes or bring a yoga mat to class.


Silver & Fit: This class is designed to focus on and increase the participant's flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance.


Explore (Level 1): This is specifically designed for non-active older adults who have no prior experience with exercise or exercise programs. Participants will need a chair, light dumbbells, band, Silver & Fit ball for set up. Equipment provided by the YMCA.


Experience (Level 2): This is a 45 minute class designed for moderately active older adults. Each class the instructor will provide modifications and challenges. Equipment includes a blue chair, light dumbbells, band, Silver & Fit ball. Equipment provided by the YMCA.
