The Carl and Linda Grubb Family YMCA offers a variety of group exercise classes. We offer mind, body, strength and cardio classes with all participant levels in mind. From beginner to advanced, we welcome you to get your blood pumping or relax in your choice of class free to all members! INDOOR CYCLING

Indoor  Cycling Etiquette

Our comprehensive indoor cycling program is designed for adults of all ages (participants must be at least 16 years old) and ability levels.

It's as easy as riding a bike. Once you learn, you never forget. The enthusiastic instructors are great at motivating you through mountainous terrain, rolling hills, and flat beach roads. Give indoor cycling a try. Members may reserve a bike up to one day in advance by calling 336-861-7788 or signing up at the front desk.

14 bikes are available; 7 are available for reservation and 7 are first-come, first-serve.

Cost: FREE to Members

Please sign up at the front desk one day in advance to ensure your spot. If you are not at your bike five minutes before class, it will become first-come, first-serve.

We suggest you wear the following attire to class:

·         Padded bike shorts

·         Stiff-soled shoes (cross-trainers) 

If you are taking a class for the first time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early in order to set up your bike.

Please bring water to class. Paper towels are provided, but if you would like to bring your own hand-towel, that is encouraged.

 

All Group Exercise Classes are FREE to members. Get here early to reserve your spot in class!
