Grubb YMCA After School

The Grubb Family YMCA After School program provides a safe, friendly, and respectful environment for children to have fun, build connections, and develop key character traits. Our program includes time for homework, group activities, and meaningful daily devotions which all adhere to the YMCA mission: to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

**Please note that we are an ELECTRONICS FREE program. Children should not be using cell phones, tablets, or laptops while in our care.**

  • Care provided for students grades K-8.
  • We provide transportation to the Y.
  • The Y provides a healthy snack to students every day.
  • After School care is offered from dismissal to 6:00 PM

*If your school is not on the list, contact us! We require at least 4 children from a school to add it to the list.*

After School Fees:

YMCA Member Rate:

$195 per month (plus $50 registration fee)

Program Participant Rate:

$260 per month (plus $50 registration fee)

All after school fees are drafted on the 1st day of each month. 

Children who attended Camp Wauneka in 2022 will have their $50 registration fee waived. 

Families with more than one child in attendance will receive a $5 discount monthly for each additional child. 
 

Student Fun Days and Holiday Camps:

When students are out of school due to teacher workdays or on break, the YMCA is here to help! We provide your children a fun and safe way to spend their day! We offer care from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on all Student Fun Days and Holiday Camp dates. Please make sure to provide your child with lunch, two snacks, and swimming attire. Student Fun Days are subject to change from the below dates, and are dependent on the Randolph County Schools Calendar. Note: in the event that RCS close school early due to inclement weather, the YMCA will NOT provide afternoon programming. IF schools are CANCELLED, the YMCA will host a Student Fun Day so long as road conditions in the area are favorable for vehicles to safely arrive to the YMCA.

Student Fun Day Fees:

  • After-School Participants: FREE
  • Children not participating in After-School: $25 per day (members) or $35 per day (program participants)

Holiday Camp Sessions:

  • December 20 - December 23 (RCS Winter Break, pre-Christmas)
  • December 27 - December 30 (RCS Winter Break, post-Christmas)
  • April 11 - April 14 (RCS Spring Break)

Holiday Camp Fees:

  • YMCA Members: $125 per session
  • Program Participants: $150 per session

Limited financial assistance is available for qualifying families on a first come, first served basis. Spots are limited, so parents should apply early!

Qualifying for financial assistance does not guarantee your child a spot in the program. You MUST register your child, and make payment arrangements in order to be guaranteed a spot. For more information about Financial Assistance, please contact our Front Desk at (336) 861-7788.
