2022 Lenten Prayer Breakfast

The 30th Annual Lenten Prayer Breakfast was hosted at the Hartley Drive Family YMCA on Wednesday, April 13th. The event was graciously sponsored by The Qubein Foundation and the YMCA Board of Trustees. This year's event marks the first time since 2019 that the event was held in person due to the pandemic.

Guests were able to enjoy a sit-down breakfast, fellowship and music provided by The High Point University Chamber Singers, under the director of Dr. Marc Foster. This year's Prayer Breakfast Invocation was provided by Joe Barnes, VP of Resource Development of the United Way of Greater High Point.

Delivering this year's Lenten Message was Mr. James "Jim" Morgan, who served as Chairman of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. from 2005-2016, as CEO of Krispy Kreme from 2008-2016 and as Executive Chairman from 2016-2018. Dr. Nido Qubein, President of High Point University, introduced Mr. Morgan as they keynote speaker.
