COVID-19 Safety Procedures

The YMCA of High Point is implementing precautionary procedures all of our branches to help ensure the safety of our members, staff, and volunteers. Please review this page to prepare for your visit to one of our facilities.

Effective November 25, 2020: Per Governor Roy Cooper's Executive Order #180, face coverings are now required in all public indoor areas. The YMCA of High Point is committed to the health and safety of our members, staff and community. Effective Wednesday, November 25 at 5:00 PM, masks will be required at all times inside YMCA facilities, including while exercising. Wearing a mask not only keeps our friends and family safe, it is critical to keeping our YMCA open. We appreciate your support and participation in this new initiative!

We practice the 3 Ws (WAIT. WASH. WEAR).

  1. We wait 6 feet apart.
  2. We wash our hands (and provide hand sanitizer throughout the facility)
  3. We wear face coverings over our nose and mouth inside the facility.

Face Coverings

All YMCA staff and participants ages 5 and older are required to wear cloth face coverings. Face coverings must cover each individual's nose and mouth.

Temperature Checks

All YMCA staff and participants are required to have their temperature taken upon arrival to any branch. Please do not come to the Y if you have a fever above 100 degrees. Health Questionnaire as entering the facility and participating in programs.

Social Distancing

The YMCA of High Point maintains a strict social distancing policy. Exercise equipment has been set-up in each of our locations in order to adhere to all state-mandated safety regulations.

Updated Liability Waiver
