Aquatics Exercise Programs at the Hartley YMCA

Water exercise classes are a great way to get in shape! These programs are offered free to members of High Point Hartley Drive Family YMCA, and non-members can participate by purchasing a one-month pass.

Water Aerobics
Experience a fun, fast-paced, total body workout with our Water Aerobics classes. Designed to improve cardiovascular health, strength, and endurance, this class takes place primarily in shallow water with some deep-water elements. The natural resistance of the water enhances the effectiveness of each movement while reducing impact on joints. No swimming skills are required—just come ready to move, energize, and enjoy a refreshing workout that's suitable for all fitness levels.

Water Aerobics Class Schedule:

Monday: 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM and 9:45-10:30 AM; 6:00 - 6:45 PM

Tuesday: 9:45-10:30 AM

Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM and 9:45-10:30 AM; 6:00 - 6:45 PM

Thursday: 9:45-10:30 AM

Friday: 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM and 9:45-10:30 AM; 6:00 - 6:45 PM

Lap Swimming
Lap swimming offers an excellent way to boost cardiovascular health and tone muscles in a low-impact environment. Whether you're building endurance or just looking for a refreshing workout, our lap lanes provide the perfect space to stay active. Be sure to check our pool schedule for designated lap swim times and lane availability. Please note that lap swimming is reserved exclusively for members and their guests.
