Grubb Family YMCA Summer Day Camp
2022 Summer Day Camp: June 13 - August 26
To bring as much fun to the YMCA as possible, campers will participate in weekly themed activities, daily assemblies, singing camp songs, outdoor play, gym games, reading, arts & crafts, STEM activities, team building, field trips, and swimming. Most importantly, we want all campers to build lifelong friendships, gain skills to work and play cooperatively, and learn how to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Through real life experiences we will listen to each other, share, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, laugh together, and work out our differences.
Camp Hours
Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. No Drop-Offs before 7:30 AM.

Camper Packing List
- Packed Lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating
- 2 labeled snacks
- Water Bottle (with Camper's name on it!). No glass bottles allowed.
- Sunscreen
- Bathing Suit and towel
- Close-toed Shoes
Weekly Fees
YMCA Members: $130
Non-Members: $155
Registration Fee
$40 (one-time fee per child)
Registration Late Fee
Registrations not received by 6pm the Friday before the week of your desired camp session will have $10 Late Fee that will be applied to the weekly fee. We cannot guarantee there will be space for late registrations.
Financial Assistance
Limited financial assistance is available for qualifying families on a first come, first served basis. Qualifying for financial assistance does not guarantee your child a spot in the program. You MUST register your child, and make payment arrangements in order to be guaranteed a spot. For more information about Financial Assistance, please contact our Front Desk at (336) 861-7788.
Payment Policies
- Payments will be drafted the Friday BEFORE a child attends camp.
- If payment is not honored by your bank, a $25 service fee will be charged.
- If you have an outstanding debt past Monday of the week attending, service will be terminated immediately.
- It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure that there is no outstanding balance.
- A late fee of $10 will be applied to all registrations received after 6pm the Friday before the week of your desired camp session. (Space may not be available for late registrations).
How to Register
1. Complete all registration forms.
2. Submit registration forms, and payment in full for the first week attending. Space is limited. Your account will be drafted the previous Friday for the following week. Cancelations must be turned in to Jocelyn in writing or by email by 5pm on the Thursday prior to the Friday draft.
