Y Guides and Y Princesses

Activities of the Guide Programs are value and character based, designed to promote fun, fellowship and self-esteem. Tribe events may include campouts, crafts, games, trips and outings. The time commitment to this Parent-Child program is a minimum of two hours per month, primarily during the school year.

YMCA sponsored events can include Pow-Wows (weekend campouts and activities at Camp Cheerio), skating parties and group outings to community events. New neighborhood Tribes form each Fall. Contact J.P. McClinton for more information at 869-0151.

Y Guides

This program is for boys between five and twelve years old and their fathers. Y Guides provides an unusual opportunity for fathers and sons to participate in a variety of activities together at the time in a boy's life when he usually needs, enjoys, and appreciates the positive influence of his father. The motto "Pals Forever" suggests a lifelong continuation of this relationship.

Cost:
$105 /Member per father/child, $35 each additional child in same family
$130 /Non-member per father/child, $35 each additional child in same family

Y Princesses

This program is for girls between five and twelve years old and their fathers. Its purpose is to strengthen companionship between father and daughter and to provide support to the girl during her early growth experiences. The motto for Princesses is "Friends Always".

$105 /Member per father/child, $35 each additional child in same family
$130 /Non-member per father/child, $35 each additional child in same family
