Water Exercise
Water exercise classes are a great way to get in shape! These programs are
offered free to members of High Point Hartley Drive Family YMCA, and non-members can
participate by purchasing a one month pass.
Water Aerobics:
This is a great, fast-paced, total body aerobic workout that takes
place in the water. Held mostly in shallow water, with a deep water
element, this class is a great cardiovascular exercise. You do not
need to know how to swim to participate.

Monday - Friday 9:00-10:00 AM
Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 -7:00 PM
Saturday 12:00-1:00 PM

Rusty Hinges Water Aerobics:
This is a slow-paced, low-intensity class designed for those with arthritis or for someone
just recovering from surgery. The emphasis is on joint movement and stretching with minimal
cardiovascular exertion.

Lap Swimming:
Lap swimming is great cardiovascular and muscle toning exercise. Check out our Pool Schedule for lap times and other available
lane times. Lap swimming is reserved for members and their guests only; no pass is
available for non-members (as in the case of water aerobics).
