Senior Programs

We are happy to announce that Silver Sneakers is now available through our YMCA. For those of you who are asking, "What is Silver Sneakers?"... It is a program offered to seniors through their insurance carriers. Participating Medicare health care members are eligible for the following benefits:

    * A basic YMCA membership
    * Custom-designed classes and use of equipment
    * A Senior Advisor to help along the way
    * Nationwide access to participating locations

There is also a Group Exercise class offered every day of the week, developed especially for our Silver Sneakers. This class works on flexibility, light strength training, range of motion, stretching and reflection. It is great for anyone who wants to lightly get back into exercise.

Senior Lunch & Learn

Our next Lunch & Learn will be Tuesday, February 21st, at 11:00 am. Seniors, come and join the fun and fellowship. Bring a friend and show them your YMCA! More details about this month's luncheon will be added soon!
