Welcome to the Carl Chavis Memorial Branch YMCA. Like the National Y, our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

The Carl Chavis Memorial Branch YMCA is named for the first African-American from High Point who lost his life in battle during World War II.

The YMCA will be closed on all major holidays. Occasionally, certain areas of our facility will be closed during special events.
