It's hoops time at the Y! Living in North Carolina (the heart of basketball
country), it's easy to see why our basketball programs are so popular. The YMCA has a long history
of supporting this American sport - and it's no wonder why - did you know that a YMCA director
invented basketball? Or that the High Point Y has been sponsoring the Midget League for over 50 years?
We offer both informal and structured leagues for adults. Leagues consist of games
only; there are no practices.
Hardwood Hoops
Hardwood Hoops is designed for ages 16 and up.
Registration is now through December 13th. The Captain's Meeting will be Dec 17th.
Games are on Wednesdays beginning January 6, 2010. The regular season will be seven games followed by a single elimination tournament. There are 2 certified referees per game.
Games will start at 7:30 or 8:30 pm depending on the number of teams.

Church League Basketball Schedule
Noon Hoops
 Hey guys, every Monday, Wednesday & Friday play pick-up basketball
from 11:00 to 1:00 with your fellow YMCA members. You must be 18
years old to participate. Rules for playing and getting on a team
are posted in the gym.

Non-Members must be a member's personal guest
Get your kicks with Hartley Drive Family YMCA's
soccer program! Whether it's played indoors or out, adults of all
skill levels enjoy playing the most popular sport in the world.
We offer both indoor and outdoor soccer leagues for adults. Leagues
consist of games only; there are no practices. T-shirts are provided for all participants.
Summer Outdoor Soccer
There will be 2 leagues - Open and Coed.
The Coed league will consist of all women 9th grade and up and men age 30 and over.
The Open league will be a higher level of competition. This league is designed for men 9th grade to 29 years of age.
Games will start the week of June 14th.

Fall Co-ed 6 v 6 Adult Outdoor Soccer
Registration deadline - August 31st
Register by Team ONLY (Maximum of 12 players per team)
Season will consist of six regular season games followed by a single elimination tournament. Season starts on September 14th, games are on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings starting about 7:45pm.
Cost: $425 per team

The league is for men and women ages 16 and up. There will be 6 players playing at a time with 8-10 players on the team. All games will be on Thursday nights

Individual fees: $20/Members; $35/Non Members
Teams must provide their own jerseys

Adult Kickball
Registration is now through September 13th. All teams are Co-Ed ages 16 and up. Games will be held on Sunday afternoons between 1:30 and 5:30pm. The season will begin September 19th.
There will be a 7 game season followed by a single elimination end of season tournament.
$325 per team - YMCA will Referee all games
Maximum of 16 players per team - will play 10 v. 10
